It is free to enjoy, bring your whole family to the Piazza Aantissima Annunziata and learn from the experts how these materials are produced.

2 – Florence’s Japanese Festival takes place from the 27th to the 29th of November, close to the Centro Rogers. There you can expect to see: tea, origami and lots of dancing.
A Chinese Art Exhibition in Florence will also accompany the Japanese festival until the 17th of November. A special event that happens only once every 5 years, whereby 65 pieces of experimental artwork will enfold the Palazzo Medici Riccardo.
3 – The 2016 Florence Tattoo Convention will enable all of you to explore the world of body art, predominantly meaning the traditional, cultural uses of tattoos and piercings. Between 18-20 November, from 3 in the afternoon to midnight at the Fortezza da Basso. Tickets will be 16 Euro.
4 – During The Florence Marathon on Sunday, 27th November. If you’re already prepared of course, choose to take part and see some of the many wonderful, historical sights Tuscany has to offer as you stride along through 42 km’s of glory. Or of course, just park yourself or on a nice spot maybe near the Cathedral Square and watch the others.
5 – Olive Oil Festival. This is not simply one of those ordinary oil festivals. This is an olive oil festival, right in the middle of Florence’s ‘Raccolta’. The olives are picked freshly and displayed for you to try for yourself, amongst a great selection of all kinds of organic produce. Be there at the Piazza Santo Spirito on Sunday the 20th of November, at 9 in the morning until 7 at night.
6 – The Festival dei Popoli takes place from the 17th of October to the 14th of December. Effectively, the festival which is a non-profit organisation with over 50 years of festival longevity, has been a major influence in the city, spreading documentaries that have a cutting-edge social commentary at their core. This is undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest documentary festivals. Go down to be a part of it at the Odeon Cinema.
